Christmas Gift !!!!!!!!

Christmas is coming soon, time to prepare gift!!!! Every year I will bake some goodies. This year I am planning to make chocolate truffles, beside still bake some yummy cookies. I modify my packaging from my previous post.

Baked some cookies for my friend EVA !!

Such a long time I haven't bake for my friend EVA from H.K, I know her father is going to visit her. So I baked some cookies, I pick one of the recipe from Martha Stewart's Cookies. I hope she like it Pecan Logs!!!! It taste good, I will make some other times.

Panettone

I love to try how to make Panettone, since the recipe is not require to knead the dough, so I give a try.

My Pumpkin cake !!

Halloween!!!!! So I decide to make a cake with a Pumpkin design. It is a vanilla and chocolate cake with white chocolate butter cream cover with butter cream flavor fondant that I bought in US. My co-worker love it so much.

Moon Cake!!!!!!!!

Mid Autumn Festival is coming soon. Since I bought the Lotus Paste from Malaysia, I love the Lotus Paste so much, even my mom, mother in law and husband love it, maybe next time buy few more packs. However I am not happy the pastry that came out; I forgot I should bake before I brush the egg wash. I love the recipe, it is from my friend Jo. It taste good!!!!!!!!!

Cheese Bread and Cinnamon Bun !!!!!!!!!

I am so happy that found a bread recipe that don't need to knead the dough, save lots of energy. I found the recipe from http://www.steamykitchen.com/. I baked a Cheese bread and Cinnamon bun, since I have some left over Caramel sauce so just use for glaze. My husband and mother in law just love it, he said just like store brought bread. I will make this again.

Pre-Wedding party for Carmen & Alan

Today is my friend Carmen & Alan Pre-wedding party, so I decide to make cupcakes for their celebration. She loves chocolate, so I make a chocolate pound cake with White chocolate cream cheese butter cream. She loved it so much, I wish you both Happy Marriage!!!!!!!!!

Bouquet of Fruit Flower for BBQ party !!!!!!!!!!

My friend invite me for BBQ party, so I decide to make a bouquet of fruit flower, is pretty time consuming to get the fruit ready, but it is fun, and it turn out pretty, all my friend like it.

Mango Chocolate Truffle !!!!!!!!!!

This is an experiment for me, most of the truffle recipe are using cream and chocolate for ganache, but I used coconut milk to replace the cream and increase the chocolate. It taste so good. My husband love it so much.

Cranberries and Cheese Muffin

I received a recipe book, so I tried out the Blueberries and Cranberries Nut muffin. I also have left over Cheese, since my husband love cheese, bake some for his breakfast.

Bakes on My Birthday

Bakes on my Birthday, I decide to bake some goodies for myself, of course beside Birthday cake, I believe birthday cake is gift for celebration. I always want to try out the Pineapple cookies recipe, also my neighbour bought the pineapple filling from H.K, it taste great and not too sweet. Cookies turn out great!!! I also bake Ham and Cheese scone for my husband.

Cookies as a gift for my friend in Hong Kong

I love to bake and let my friend to taste and comment on it. One of my friend love to try my cookies, however she is in H.K, so I will bake some and let her family bring it back to H.K. This time I baked Cranberry Almond, Hazelnut Sable, Lemon Earl grey and Raspberry Rugalach. I hope she like it!!!!!!!!!!

Few kind of Chocolate!!!!

Since I bought so many chocolate mold and a New chocolate book. I decide to make some chocolate. I make Mango Chocolate Truffle, Caramel filling Chocolate, Chai Tea Truffle. Dark Chocolate Rose Lollipop for my husband.

Blueberries Cheese Cake

This month I am making Blueberries Cheese Cake for my Colleague. The Cheese cake recipe is from my French Pastry Instructor. The cake is layer with sponge cake, smooth cream cheese filling with fresh blueberries.
